Prior to being here at Chapin Pediatrics – what areas did you touch?<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Kimberly Bolen:<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I did my residency down at Palmetto Health in Columbia and then I went to the Batesburg-Leesville<\/span>\u00a0region for just a year – and now I\u2019m here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ronnie Wilson:<\/strong><\/p>\n

And what are some of the things that you have especially enjoyed being here?<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Kimberly Bolen:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love it here. I mean I tell people all the time: I say, \u201cThis is the best place I’ve ever worked,\u201d and I\u2019ve only been here for seven months … the people, I mean I love the people. I love working for Dr. Bonnett. And then all the nurses are great … the clinical staff … you know, the clerical staff – but then even just the patients and their families, the community. I just – I love working there. And there’s a lot of things about it: I mean it\u2019s a great practice; it’s wonderful. It’s just, we’ve got it down to an art. But the people: I love sitting out there at the nursing station and visiting with them and those relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ronnie Wilson:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now you guys work in the essence of pods. Who are the nurses who work most closely with you in your pod?<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Kimberly Bolen:<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I work with Jennifer and Amanda – and that’s my Care Team. And we like to say we\u2019re the best care team! And everybody thinks they have the best care team, but we really have the best care team!! They\u2019re wonderful though. They know what they’re doing. They know – the Care Team thing is nice: we kind of just recently started that; but it’s nice because they know how I do things and so we can kind of … they can read my mind and everything that I need done is done by the time I go in there – and I don\u2019t even have to probably say anything anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ronnie Wilson:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now Jennifer and Amanda work with you, you said. What have you especially discovered that you like about them?<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Kimberly Bolen:<\/strong><\/p>\n

They’re just really easy; they’re just, I mean, they’re just good people. They come in, they show up ready to work, they want what\u2019s best for the patient ,they’re all on the same team. Like, I’ve never asked them something and feel like I’m bothering them or anything like that. I mean, as soon as I say it, they\u2019re, \u201cYep, sure, we’ll do it, go ahead,\u201d and they do it all. So they’re wonderful – it’s easy, just always easy; they do what’s best for the patient, what’s best for the practice, what\u2019s best for the flow of things … so they’re wonderful.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
